Before you say it, I do know about this thread. But this post hasn't been updated in about a month, and isn't very organized. So I decided to make this thread, being constantly updated
About Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox game, yes, but it has evolved a lot since it's start. Monsters, creative mode, and many more additions have wildy changed the game. The goal in the game, ultimately, could be to kill the Enderdragon thus completing the game. But the adventure to get there is the fun part. You start with wooden tools, and upgrade your way up to full diamond sets of armor and tools. You can enchant items, build massive structures, play with friends, or play alone and purely fight monsters and explore! There are limitless possibilities in Minecraft.
Creative Mode
In creative mode, you can fly and can not die. You get unlimited items, and you put your imagination to the test. You can build a massive castle to defend yourself from the zombie attacks, or build a giant airplane. You can build just abbout anything if you put your mind into it!
Survival Mode
In survival mode, you can truly enjoy the game of minecraft. You must get items, create shelter, find food, explore caves, and strive for excellence. You can fight off monsters, find diamonds, find a Stronghold, kill the enderdragon, and ultimately beat the game.

The Mobs
Brewing Information
Every Potion starts with a water bottle. Made by filling a Glass Bottle at a water source, or from a Cauldron. As seen in the brewing chart on the right, the first step of most potions is to create an Awkward Potion, by placing Nether Wart above water bottles in the brewing "grid". Potions with varied effects are made by adding secondary ingredients to the Awkward Potion. Tertiary ingredients can be added to alter the potion's effect in some way. As a general rule, adding Redstone will increase the duration of the potion, adding Glowstone (Dust) will increase its potency, and adding a Fermented Spider Eye will corrupt the potion's effect. Finally, Splash Potions can be created by adding Gunpowder to any potion. This allows the potion to be thrown as a weapon. While adding an ingredient into glass bottles filled with water or potion, only one of an ingredient is required to fill all three slots. E.g. One Nether Wart can create three Awkward Potions.

Enchanting Information
Enchanting is probably my favorite part about the game. It gives you a chance to strengthen your weapons/armor. Here is some basic information from the wiki.
Here is a list of enchantments.
The get the highest possible enchantments levels, you must place 30 bookshelves, half of them on the ground exactly 1 blocks distance away from the table. Then a place more bookshelves on top of that layer.
Enchanting is a game mechanic that involves using an Enchantment Table to add special bonuses to tools, weapons or armor. To enchant an item, you need the required Experience level for the enchantment and an Enchantment Table. Each enchantment costs the player experience levels but in turn allows the player to enchant armor, swords and tools with one or several random bonus attributes as well as making the items glow with a brilliant hue.

Breeding Mobs
Ever want to make baby animals in Minecraft? Well you can! By breeding two of the same type of animal, you can create baby animals! This is great for food and eggs This can be done by right clicking a mob with wheat and right clicking another mob of the same type (cow and cow) with wheat. Hearts will emerge from their bodies, and hey will create a baby animal! Here is a well made video explaining it.
Having Pets
At the moment, you can only have 2 loyal pets. You can tame a wolf, or an ocelot. Wolves are mainly found in heavy forest biomes, while ocelots are found in jungle biomes. You can tame a wolf by right clicking it several times with multiple bones, and to tame an ocelot you must right click it multiple times with fish. Ocelots are sneaky little cats, and do not like to be seen. You must slowly approach them, and keep your crosshairs away from them. They will slowly walk towards you, and you must carefully tame them.
