What do you guys think about players holding out for their money?

I heard about this this morning and now think the franchise tag is unfair the way the Saints are using it.

Yah players hate the franchise tag becuase usually it means they dont get the deal they want, and are losing money this year, all these guys deserve there money there stars on their teams

Cam Newton signed 5 years for 22 million. That's about 4.5 million a year. It's not that big in my opinion for a QB if you got drafted first pick overall.
Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFL. Best player in the league really. If Manning never got paid 18 million a year by the Colts, then maybe Brees wouldn't hold out his contract. But since the Colts did that to Manning, Brees wants 18 million too which I totally agree because he's great and if you pull him off of the Saints, you'll see them do terrible.
Brees will be in the Hall of Fame for the Saints. He was the first QB to ever bring them to a Super Bowl and better yet, they won too. If you know he's a Hall of Famer and a huge person for the Saints, then you gotta pay him a lot and he's doing the right thing squeezing some extra money.
