I hope they did start before MW2 that game seemed too rushed Black Ops should be a beast.

Its basically saying that Treyarch started BO a YEAR before MW2 was released. They must of had there ideas already in action by then, and they started multyplayer first thing. They even had to model single player levels off of multyplayer.
"Treyarch didnt draw anything from Modern Warfare 2 for Black Ops, because it started development a year before Infinity Wards game came out..."
MW2 was started a year before CoD5 even came out. They started it straight after they finished CoD4
