Here's proof that the release date for GTA 5 is May 24, 2012 or May 24, 2013! Some Easter eggs / leaks were hidden in the video, along with other misc. info!

Alex O'Dwyer, a character animator at Rockstar Games, has an October 2012 release date listed for Grand Theft Auto V on his resume.
You can find O'Dwyer's LinkedIn account here, and his CV here, which contains the possible release date. This is by no means a confirmation of Grand Theft Auto V releasing in October, but it is a reasonable time frame for what will likely be one the biggest releases of the year, whatever year that may be.

Your looking to much into it. I don't believe that at all. @ 0:29 it says Los Santos clearly not 05.

You don't need to look for clues when it will come out. Due to Max Payne's late release this has most likely pushed information and the release date for GTA V forward. We'll most likely receive information at E3 and/or also during May/June time.

The game was only announced 6 months ago, and nothing else has been released about it. Not a second trailer, not a snapshot, nothing! Though May 24th is pushing it, it still may come.

I don't think the release date is in May, this year. I believe they'll show some more information at E3, then market it a little and then in October or November, release it.
If they don't release it this year, I believe it'll be released in January or February next year.
