Like the title says, this is my mock draft based on what needs I see for each team. I'm not Todd McShay or Mel Kieper Jr. so if these picks seem stupid then feel free to add something but I'd rather not see "your f***in stupid" or something like that. Also I wont be predicting trades so this draft order will stay the same, but you guys feel free. I'm not biased toward any team being that my favorite team (ATL) doesn't get a pick so don't feel slighted

1 Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck - QB
With Manning in Denver this leaves the Colts without a signal caller and it happens that the best player is a QB.

2 Washington Redskins (from St. Louis) - Robert Griffin III - QB
This is the reason the Redskins traded the farm, for the right to pick RG3. I hope for the Redskins this works out due to the amount of picks they gave up.

3 Minnesota Vikings - Matt Kalil - OT
If Minnesota believes that Ponder is their future what better way to protect him with a cornerstone Left Tackle.

4 Cleveland Browns - Trent Richardson - RB
I debated between Trent and Justin Blackmon, but in the end I believe that without a true Franchise QB that the Browns will pick Richardson because he doesn't need a Quarterback to throw him the ball.

5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Morris Claiborne - CB
Tampa has a huge problem at the DB spot with Talib possibly going to the slammer and Barber on the verge of retirement a shutdown corner would be a great fit and Morris is also the best player left as well.

6 St. Louis Rams (from Washington) - Justin Blackmon - WR
The Rams need a WR more than anybody else (Jacksonville is a close 2nd though) with this pick Sam Bradford gets his number 1 receiver for the future. He's not the fastest or tallest but he can bring in catches that I've never really seen before.

7 Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinton Coples - DE
Kampman is old and Coples could be the answer to take his place. His motor is questionable but Jacksonville isn't shy to that sort of thing (i.e. Blaine Gabbert). He will either be a huge bust or a force on defense only time will tell.

8 Miami Dolphins - Ryan Tannehill - QB
If Ryan makes it to 9 I have no doubt that the Dolphins will take him. They traded Marshall which I like for the Bears but they aren't making Tannehill's job any easier.

9 Carolina Panthers - Fletcher Cox - DT
The Panthers have a lot of work on the defensive side of the ball to do, from DB's to the D-Line so picking a guy like Cox is just the start of the building process. With Claiborne gone and Gilmore being to far of a reach Cox is a safe bet.

10 Buffalo Bills - Riley Reiff - OT
With the departure of Bell to the Eagles the Bills need a replacement and I think Reiff is a upgrade actually no drama and a hard worker.

11 Kansas City Chiefs - Michael Brockers - DT
Kelly Greg isn't the Chiefs answer at DT due to the fact he's 35 so Brockers looks like a pick that makes good sense to me.

12 Seattle Seahawks - Melvin Ingram - DE
I feel that Ingram gets taken to Seattle because they need a DE badly. DeCastro is a possiblily but Seattle to me never seems like they know what they are doing with the O-Line.

13 Arizona Cardinals - David DeCastro - OG
Arizona's O-Line is a bad joke, if they want Kolb or Skelton to be thier QB they have to protect them so DeCastro seems like a very smart pick to me.

14 Dallas Cowboys = Dontari Poe - DT
The Cowboys get who they wanted all along, they didnt do a good job at keeping it a secret though. "America's Favorite Team" has a big time problem at DT and Poe could be their guy that makes it one less issue.

15 Philadelphia Eagles - Mark Barron - S
The Eagles have a need at Safety and Barron happens to be patiently waiting so it seems like an autopilot pick to me.

16 New York Jets - Michael Floyd - WR
The Jets are praying to every God imaginable that Philly doesn't snag Barron one pick ahead of them. I say they do so next up on the needs list is a DE and WR and I feel that Upshaw isn't a good fit with the Jets from a size stand point so Mark Sanchez gets a number 1 receiver to throw too.

17 Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland) - Courtney Upshaw - DE
I think that last season was a sort of fluke for the Bengals but we will see, anyways Cincinnati has no need for a OT so I think they go with Mr. Upshaw to pair with Geathers. I'm not sure why Dunlap isn't playing opposite Geathers but since he's not here's my pick.

18 San Diego Chargers - Luke Kuechly - ILB
With the Chargers 3-4 Defense 2 good ILB's are very important to have Spikes and Kuechly tandem seem like a a great combo to have which is why San Diego goes with Luke here.

19 Chicago Bears - Cordy Glenn - OT
My least favorite O-Linemen this year but the Bears need help regardless. Chicago needs a CB and a ILB which are the next to best players so any to me seem viable.

20 Tennessee Titans - Dont'a Hightower - ILB
With Ruud Departure a long term replacement is called for. I thought about Stephen Gilmore here but Tennessee has two good CB's so a LB looks like a better choice.

21 Cincinnati Bengals - Stephen Gilmore - CB
Nate Clements is a good pick up, but I think he's a nickel guy. Heck Gilmore could be too so maybe have them battle it out in camp but this pick is just one that you take the best guy available.

22 Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta) - Kendall Wright - WR
I've been hearing this pick for months and it makes sense, the Browns have a need at WR but nobody special to throw it to Mr. Wright. Nonetheless I think he's taken at 22.

23 Detroit Lions - Janoris Jenkins - CB
This pick is interchangeable with the Steelers due too the fact that both Jenkins and Kirkpatrick both to me are equal. Both the Steelers and Lions need a Corner so here it is.

24 Pittsburgh Steelers - Dre Kirkpatrick - CB
This pick is interchangeable with the Lions due too the fact that both Jenkins and Kirkpatrick both to me are equal. Both the Steelers and Lions need a Corner so here it is.

25 Denver Broncos - Andre Branch - DE
I said I wouldn't predict trades but I think the Broncos will convert Branch to a DT. He has the size and Denver needs it in the middle.

26 Houston Texans - Johnathon Martin - OT
For some reason (cap space) the Texans let half of their O-Line walk so to replace the departed one Johnathon Martin who I think is underrated but anyway here's the pick.

27 New England Patriots (from New Orleans) - Chandler Jones - DE
New England Defense is always a mystery it seems to do good but it sometimes falls apart. I'm not saying that Chandler is the fix but he might be more than serviceable. Since Belechick can turn anyone into a short term star ( Andre Carter!?!?).

28 Green Bay Packers - Lavonte David - OLB
I hear that the Pack are looking for a LB opposite Clay Matthews. It happens David is still left, with the Packers coaching there's no telling what he might turn out to be.

29 Baltimore Ravens - Peter Konz - C
This is my favorite pick in the draft by far. Not that I like the Ravens or the player but the fact that Matt Birk is like 60 and can train Konz until he retires then Konz steps right in and the Ravens don't miss a beat, and in the meantime Konz can play G until that time though.

30 San Francisco 49ers - Stephen Hill - WR
If you watched the NFC title game you know why they 49ers are picking a wideout. Moss will be a failed expirement so maybe Hill can make some noise. Crabtree needs has to step up if they want to go to the big one.

31 New England Patriots - Harrison Smith - S
The Pats 2nd first round pick goes to one Harison Smith. The Patriots need a Safety and Smith should be good enough to fill that spot.

32 New York Giants - Mike Adams - OT
For the final first round pick I have Mike Adams going to the Champion Giants. New Yorks O-Line is a bit shaky so maybe adding a Mike Adams could straighten it out. But I wouldn't put it past the Giants to pick Lamar Miller to fill their RB hole.

Well after two and a half hours of think in typing I'm done so tell me what you guys think and share your Mock too.

Dayumm, you have Tannehill going at 8? I had him going at four to Cleveland.

Btw, mine shows the same picks that the Patriots get in the first round. Yes I'm a Patriots fan. But yeah I have Jones going at 27, simply because our left D-End position needs a good player to fill in, because somehow Andre Carter turned into a beast midway through the season, and Wilfork is always a beast. Looking at how New England's defense is ran, we run about the same amour of 3-4's as we do 4-3's, so a good defensive line/ Linebacker Corps is very important.

As for Harrison Smith going at 31 I would be forced to agree. This season the Patriots suffered far too many injuries in their secondary to not address the issue. Pat Chung is a very good free safety, and with the departure of Brandon Merriwheather at the beginning of the season, it showed that the strong safety position was lacking. From Ihedibou to Brown, no strong safety gave the same depth as him, so picking up Smith could potentially be a great pick up.

Nice Copy and Paste. But I don't think some of those are good picks.

@ UFC: Tannehill to me is a forced QB taken kinda like Ponder who I don't believe is a Franchise QB. I hope for Miami that Tannehill is a Franchise QB

@ NinersNation: Well like I said it's what I think they should pick I'm not their GM but I do think Moss wont do anything special.

@ Giants: I wish it was a copy and paste but I spent about 2 hours typing it and 30 mins fixing it but believe what you want. As far as you don't think some my picks are good then elaborate, just saying your picks aren't good doesn't contribute...

Nah this isn't copy/paste to my knowledge, I have yet to see a Mock Draft that looks like this. What would be the point in copy/pasting a mock draft on TTG anyway?

Thank you UFC, I'll say I have some picks that aren't even projected at all, and some that go to low to other people (i.e. Chandler)

Taking another look at it, I thought Claiborne was for sure going to the Vikings at 3 overall. I can definitely see why the Bucs would want/need him, but Minnesota taking him makes more sense to me. That's just how I see it.

Other than that, very nice, and controversial Mock Draft. Doesn't look the most apparent, but looking at how the draft went last year (Jake Locker being the biggest example, how early he was taken) I don't think any prediction is safe. Also, what makes you think Luck will go before RG3? I mean, Indy is definitely used to a pocket passer, but RG3 displayed some indefinite pocket skills at Baylor.
