Ok, so I'm not planning on getting a new headset until late this year but I know I want A40's and I don't know what to buy. I'm split between the wired and wireless versions of the A40's. I know the differences between the two mixamps but I noticed one had a bass boost option. Is it a large determining factor? I heard that the Astro's don't have much bass and I'm use to my PX5's. I also am less than a foot from my setup and getting the wireless headset would seem like a waste. I guess the true question I have is does the wired headset have as much bass as the wireless headset with bass boost on?

It's not like I haven't used A40's at events, I just haven't used both wired and wireless. (I've only used wired)I have to say PX5's have better sound quality but Astro's just seem like an all over better package.

As for the question, you need an adapter cable, which blows. Sorry.
