The Basics And How to use Hex editor
Okay HxD editor if you people who havent heard of it is a coding program where you can re-code and change the game for example, this is where the magic happends for the private match mods. Hex editing has alot of history which has been flying around in COD mods in since the early stages of the franchise, yet the things you cant do sadly with the private match mods is add DVARS. Dvars are the codes that allow to use god mode no clip ect ect but yet modders everyday are finding a new way to bypass these patches to bring back Dvars once agian. So the first thing you need to do is download and install HxD editor if you already have it great stuff. The download Link :

How We Find Our Codes/Replace Them
So once downloaded ill go through how people use this so if i had the CMR FILE(private match file) and for example (not real weapon value) m4a1 was value number 01 and i wanted to change it to a desert eagle which is lets say 14 and if i wanted to find the weapon value i would find hex value by entering the decimal code from the website link later in this post and then click hex which will tell the code to replace this with. this may sound confusing but the vid tut will make it more clearer further in the post. okay so we have covered the basics and why we use hxd editor move on to the next part.

Read before watching: i only just realised that i say on the checksum part i say put whatever you want do not do this i dont know what brought me to say this but yeah make sure you put the checksum at the bottom of hxd editor but dont copy mine ! enjoy comment please on my topic to keep it alive thats all i ask thanks !

1.okay this may get confusing but the things you need are: Unlimited MOAB Mod
a usb horizon and HxD Editor okay so get the MOAB custom gamemode and move it to your usb
2.onced moved to your usb open up horizon then look for the custom gamemode in mw3 then open it up .
3.go to contents then it should show a cmr_save/history blah blah blah extract it to a folder.
4.now open it up in hxd hex editor
5.okay now in the top left area it should say search then go to "GOTO" then click the bubble dec and type the killstreak in from the values below in the next spoil say i wanted to put ac130 on like i did i would put in dec 15 then click the hex bubble next to dec that is your hex value remember that
6.now the MOAB hex value is 20 the hex value of ac130 is F if there is no other number than F you put a 0F otherwise it wont work this is very important
7.now press ctrl+f then look below where you type the value its called data type then it should say text-string, change that to hex values then click the bubble below from forward to all
8. now type in the old killstreak hex value which is the MOAB which is 20 so click find then it should take you to the 20 value and replace it with the ac130 one which is 0F keep repeating this til it says cant find value 20.
9.almost done now go to the top of the coding then highlight everything except for the first 4 codes e.g 12,13,14,15 then go to analysis then checksum a window should come up and click CRC-32 then click ok.
10.once done that a window at the bottom will come up of hex editor.
11.once you see this box at the bottom of hex editor one part of the table should say checksum and a code below it replace the old codes from the first 4 values with them then save.
12.go back to horizon and and replace the old save with the one you just made do not replace it the one with bak next to it.
13. save rehash and resign
14.move your custom game back to your hard drive form your usb.
15.you are done BOOM!

How To Change The Name And Colour Of The Game mode TuT Credit Goes To I_LOVE_TO_HUG
Text Tut:
Xbox Instructions:
1.Plug in a xbox360 configured usb drive into the xbox.
2.Start up mw3, when it asks for your save device click USB Drive.
3. Go to private match lobby in multiplayer.
4. Select the type of mode you want to mod (FFA, SND,DOM,TDM) ect.
5. Open up options, change them to what you want, then hit X to save the file to "My Modes"
6. Then go to select your mode again, then hover over the mode you just placed into "My Modes" and click X to save to online vault
7. Then back out to your vault, and change the name (Make sure you place AA in front of the new name. Example (AAI LOVE TO HUG)
8. Then go back to private match and load the game type you just renamed.
9. Go to options, Hit X to save, and overwrite the the game mode you originally made. Now it should say (AAI LOVE TO HUG).
10. Now start the match, and then end it. Then dashboard, and take your usb stick out, and plug it into your computer.
Computer Instructions:
1.Open up horizon, and click on games>MW3>Custom Game Save
2. Click on contents and extract the file thats in contents.
3. Open HxD and then load the file you just extracted.
4. Look on the right side for (AAI LOVE TO HUG) there should be two of these at the very top. You are now going to replace the AA with a color code.
5. Now you highlight all the code execept for the first four hexs then click analyze then go to checksums, then click CRC32. Now your new checksum is calculated.
6. Now replace those first four hex values with the new checksum values.
7. Then save.
8. Open horizon, then right click on the file you extracted earlier, and replace it with the new modded one. Then click rehash and resign.
9. Close horizon, and plug the usb stick back into the xbox.
