In my opinion this is each thing...

HD PVR[b];
- You can record all games you play and make YouTube videos and get popular and make more money if you do it right.

[b]Modded/Custom Controller;
- You will be the only one that can see it, and it's really nothing but a waste of money. Learn how to use you finger(s) to shoot fast or just paint/design your own controller.

JTAG;
- Never ever had one but been told they are great and that they are worth the money.

Modded Xbox;
- Don't get it at all, you can get banned and it's also pretty pointless being able to do sh*tty thing for no point (Avatar etc).

In my opinion also HD PVR is your best bet. If your from the US you can get one somewhere in your state but I'm from the UK and no store near where I live sells them (good ones), so I got a Hauppauge HD PVR of eBaY for just about 200GBP.

Jtag you can get money out of making mods and then you can go buy a HDpvr thats just my oppinion

Go for a HDPVR there really useful and if you get good videos then you can earn all the money back by getting YouTube Partnership.
