a mac is a COMPUTER lol.

both have their pros and cons.

what are you planning on doing with your computer?

gaming - get a nice gaming pc (custom built if you can)

home pc - get a mac

if you want a cheaper mac, get the mac mini

Biased. I bet you have a mac.

First off, macs CAN get viruses, except they're not likely because the majority have PCs and a lot of programs that are compatible with PCs aren't with macs. >_>

There's Many Differences Between Macs and PC's.
Macs Can Get Viruses, But it is highly unlikely. One BAd Thing about a Mac is that they Don't run many .exes in their home operating system (OS X). Though You Can Run a virtual PC using programs like Parallels , or you can boot multiple operating systems in Boot camp. The Mac OS (OS X) is a very easy operating system to control, it is highly based off of a Drag-And-Drop Idea. PC's can run OS X, but they aren't meant to. I think with the Mac you get more Possibilities, but that is my opinion. It comes down to, Which Computer do you prefer.

Yes (I'm a Mac )

Actually they can, but many virus makers prefer to use windows because it has a much more people using it.

Mac: No games, expensive.

Pc: A lot of games, can get the performance of a mac with only 1000$ instead of 5000$, much more reliable, upgradable, more programs, and just better in almost everyway. I've had ~8 years of computer experience and I would go with a pc.

Mac: Runs like brand new after 6 years, never crashed or been swarmed by viruses.

PC: for the same price as the mac has crashed multiple times and runs like a POS.
(However if you are into PC gaming then windows has ALL the GOOD games out there)

In fact, I am actually trying to repair my PC right now because of some stupid "Rouge Anti-Virus" Software that i got from researching for my homework for next year
