Im building my own pc but im looking for an i5 or i7 cpu but the ones ive seen are really expensive does anyone know where i can get one a little cheaper.

The only websites I've seen them cheaper are [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . But "Cheap" i5 or i7 processors are hard to come by. If I were you I'd rather get an i3 or an i5 I have an i1 which is ok, but it doesn't do all the things I'd like it to do. If you get an i3 with 8GB's of RAM then that would make it seem like you have an i7 because the RAM is what's going to help you out.

Thanks that helps alot because im buying 16gb of ram which is the max for my motherboard so im going to look at the i3's

Btw its for gameing so would a i3 work?

Wrong Section, BTW, get a i5 2500k for about 160 pounds its better than some i7's and when overclocked are amazing
