People are so mad over the ending of Mass Effect 3, I loved this game and I thought that he ending really opened up towards a DLC or ME4. In my playthrough Shepard survived, and I destroyed the Reapers. People are complaining on how to get the best ending and I got it on my first playthrough. There are no real plot holes. The ending was a dream sequence where Harbringer had you indoctrinated and tried to make yourself synthesize yourself or control the Reapers but kill yourself, that explains why the option to control the Reapers showed up blue standing for Paragon and the option to destroy the Reapers was in red standing for Renegade. They were switched trying to make Shepard kill himself to try and do something he did not have the power to do which was control the Reapers. Also if you notice the scene where they showed the soldiers on earth celebrating(if they weren't killed) you would see it looked to be in the afternoon, however the ending cutscene where it shows Britain in rubble and Shepard breathes it appears to be very late at night. If you chose to destroy the Reapers and you had enough military strength you would have Shepard survive and the earth would not have been annialated. So all of you complaining it is your own fault not Bioware.
