Okay so the other day my Xbox Live subscription ran out and I was paying it with a Visa Credit Card, But I took it off and added my Visa Prepaid Walmart Card that had NO money on it. And I signed in yesterday and it said "Could not authorize Payment" and when I go to account settings and Xbox Live Gold it says Couldn't authorize selected payment please add another payment option, BUT I still have Gold...
So did cheat the system on accident?

Same here dude xbox live took my account details off and now its unlimited
Haven't been banned no error popping up but don't use the account often

I also did this, and for maybe a month i had free gold. MS then banned my account until I added a valid credit card. I obviously then had to pay for live to get my account unbanned. So anyway, you can either pay now, or wait until your account gets banned - up to you but you ain't getting free XBL membership. MS also charge you from the time your account originally ran out of Gold membership.
