Hitler.
By Sam

Our brains tend to develop many thoughts throughout our lives. Many ideas, theories, and opinions are formed as well. We learn through visual aids, and auditory mediums. Many events stick out in our minds, such as something that happened at lunch, or even as tragic as 9/11. For many Jewish Americans, their ancestors, and their own families, a different kind of thought lingers in their brains. The life, the choices, and the actions made by Adolf Hitler.
Adolf, an Austrian boy born April 20, 1889. His father, Alois Hitler wanted Adolf to work in the customs bureau. However, Adolfs strong desire for art caused him to stray from the path his father created. One day, Adolfs father allowed him to come to see what he does at the customs bureau. Little to no records have been found relating to the trip, but after the visit, Alois and his son Adolf slowly formed an agonizing hatred toward each other. Adolfs desire for art, and the attending of a traditional High School intensified. Many long days, and sleepless nights, Adolf would spend went to his art. From drawings and sketches, to paintings and water color, Hitlers passion for the Arts grew tremendously. Kiana Hitler, Adolfs mother, began to feel torn in half, one side pulling toward her husband, Alois. The other side was supporting her son, Adolf. Though the true feelings, thoughts, and events that occurred in her mind, were seldom written down, or documented.
After some time living at home, he later lived a life in Vienna. Getting an Orphans benefits, as well as food, and money from his mother. Just 2 years after he started living in Vienna, his mother died suddenly on a cold December day. He would soon realize his true feelings toward Jewish immigrants, and other minorities living throughout Europe in the months that followed. In 1918, he joined the Army. He was a runner, or message carrier. He was exposed to battles rarely, but when he did, the battles were intense, and brutal. For example, The Battle of Ypres, The Battle of Somme, and The Battle of Arras. Throughout his military life, he received many awards, and even the prestigious Iron Cross medal. He also gained the trust of many high ranked military officials in the army. He achieved First Class, and the door soon opened to the world of politics.
Some time passed, his military relations allowed him a spot in politics, which would become his biggest, and for some, his most hateful and sinister move yet. He gave speeches at local beer halls, to the very eager ears of the Nazi Party. Then, after gaining the trust, and support of the few members that belonged to it. Then, Nazi party was a small group of individuals. In the years to come, it will grow from around 50-60 people, to around 8,500,000. In the late 1920s and early 30s Hitler was able to climb the ranks, earn trust, and gather followers, all in an effort to replenish Germanys power, and his ultimate goal, to control the European world. But in September of 1921, things took a turn for the worst, Hitler was sent to prison for three months, and was charged for leading a mob that beat, and tortured a rival politician. Just two years later, Hitler led a political march, (also called a Putsch). In which he was tried, found guilty, and sent to prison yet again, for five years. During his time there, he wrote an autobiography, called Mein Kampf or My Struggle a large book, telling his views, his past, and where he intends to take his life.
His power at the beginning was weak, but now he grew the Nazi Party, to 8.5 Million people. He had tried every trick in the book, to socially engineer or manipulate peoples thoughts, and feelings toward him or his colleagues. He was at a stage in his career where he had to take action, if he wanted to succeed. His plan was in place, all he had to do was say the words. He sent his Military to Poland, raised taxes, and when the time was right, organized, dehumanized, polarized, and exterminated the lives of 8 million innocent Jews. He dehumanized Jews by brainwashing German citizens in an effort to create an uncomfortable atmosphere for them to live in, by denying basic rights, and teaching German youth and adults to discriminate, and hate the Jewish population. He then prepared the final plan, by kidnapping, and transporting Jews by train, and truck, to various camps or extermination centers. There, they would work until they were physically unable to, or they would kill them when they got there. Jews that owned businesses or worked were killed on the spot by mobile killing units, military jeeps equipped with soldiers, and poisonous gas.
After the invasion of Poland, and the start of the holocaust underway, Hitler had gained the attention of all the people in the world. America had been bombed at Pearl Harbor, which made matters worse. The US was now involved in the war, and Russia had become Allies with America. Hitler knew he was in trouble, he knew he had to act fast. He made many efforts to seize land in France, and Britain, with little success. France had fallen, and America was en route to take down the sinister man that caused so much pain. Hitler was stuck.
In 1943 and 1944, Hitler was faced with a choice. With the US now involved in WWII and Russia at their backs, little could be done to achieve his goals. He now had little resources, small army, and no allies that could efficiently defend them. All he could do is to wait for his demise. The US closed in on their target, and in 1945, WWII ended, Hitler was dead, and The Allies victorious. Yet, no matter how happy America was, no matter how bad the Axis lost, the horrific actions made by Adolf Hitler, will always leave a deep scar on the minds of many.

Just be a light-hearted about it. He's such a bad writer I actually laughed at most of it.
