EDIT: I have deleted all what was there and am starting again, as the last one got too confusing with all of the random files that were made.

Yes, I know my CSS needs fixing, but I cannot update the site until tomorrow.

I've been learning web languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL) and would like some feedback on my site I have been making for a while.

Please do not rate the ponies on the site, just the code, and the overall design like the navigation bar etc.

Please just tell me anything that you thought about it.

PM me if you would like to help me!

Im sorry but its really terrible. You should spend more time on it before you upload it to a hosting site. Also who are you currently learning from?

Well I am using a free hosting service, and am only working on it to keep me busy and to learn PHP.

It is my first website, and I did write all the code.

I used [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to learn how to make it.

Sorry, but kind of bad. I've only been learning for 2 weeks and I've made beautiful sites.

I used PHP so I can use 2 files for the template, and each new page can just include the overall template.

This is also useful to me as to change the look of all the pages, I just need to change 1 or a maximum of 2 files, rather than edit the source of every single page.

The web hosting doesn't matter only thing it does really is allow your site to be seen by others on the web. Also i would suggest using the tutorials series for html xhtml or what ever html your using by [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] since he teaches things very well.

The website's design is alright, in my opinion the width of the content boxes is quite a bit much, looks far too long.

That being said, it's layout is good, although I'm not a fan of the partial nav bar.

I'm not going to rate it as you're still learning, however, I'd advice you to not branch out so for now.

Try and focus on one area for a while, possibly revisit xHTML and look into HTML5 so you can learn more about things you can do to make the appearance of the site better.

After you get a good grip on it, JavaScript or PHP would be a good way to go, depends what you're more interested in learning first.

I don't see why everyone is hitting you hard since you're new to it, and not offering any advice. No one can improve without feedback.
