i haven't seen anyone post this so i thought i would for the people who didn't know about this

Requirements

Dead Island
Xbox 360
HxD
7-zip
Horizon or whatever program you use
A way to get your save to your computer

First open up 360Revolution/Horizon, etc. I personally use horizon.

Steps:
1. The first thing you are going to want to do is extract your save to your desktop
2. Then make a new folder in your desktop and name it whatever you choose
3. Open up Horizon and drag and drop your save into it
4. Click on the content button.

5.right click the save you have extracted; go to 7-zip, then open archive

7. Then extract that by highlighting the only file there, then on top press extract


Steps to make items unbreakable

Open HxD and drag the save_3~( or what ever yours is) in to HxD, then look for the weapon you want to mod. Mine will be a big baseball bat ( but Search for the name of the weapon you want to mod)

Once you have found the item you want to mod, look for 00 00 00 01. Sometimes there will be more zeros in front on it but this is how you find out you will always see bf behind it.

After the 01 you're going to change 4 these 8 numbers to FF FF FF FF

** The items will look like they are broken and can not be repaired so don't bother trying to repair them. ( There are some items this will not work on)


Open 7-zip back up, and also open the folder you made. Drag the ~save from the folder into the ~save in 7-zip, when asked if you would like to replace this file, hit yes.

Open the original save you extracted from your desktop back up in 360Revolution/Horizon or whatever program you're using.

Navigate back to the content section, but this time right click and hit replace.

Replace the content with the save_3 for example with the save_3 in the folder you made

Save, rehash, and resign, and put the save back on your xbox.
