Ok, so you really don't see me around this forum much, but I LOVE to rant about things.

My rant today will be about people who debate the topic of who or what created this lovely planet we call Earth.

Honestly, I join in all the time and I am basically iffy about both. I want to believe there is a thing that is named God and he created all of this... but I don't.

I guess you can say I am a hypocrite, but whatever.

My rant isn't really about who created it, it is about why people talk about it.

It angers me to an extent where I have to put my fist through a wall.

Why do people care what happened billions of years ago? This is why we are so corrupt in the world, because people like to debate about what happens in the past. When we should really be focusing on the future. Don't get me wrong, some people make a living debating about the past. I am talking the people who continuously talk about what happened back then. It doesn't change the future. Even if you do find answers. For example, if there really was no God and it were proven, there are still Christians and Jews, etc... That are still going to believe in Him. So no matter what you can basically say we are doing absolutely nothing. We really need to start focusing on the future or our economy will continue to decline.

"Don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next." - Dennis Waitley

I love this quote because this is how millions and billions of people should be thinking.

Just my point of view.

Thoughts? Comments? Post them here, I would love to hear.

#Rant over.

Well I don't understand, if it bothers you so much why let it? You said yourself you join in on debates sometimes. Don't.

Just saying your anger will go away if you ignore the people debating

But, I like to debate. I just don't think people should be debating on this topic. It would make the world a better place. If that answers you're question

Well now your ranting about one's belief. You make some valid point's.

But perhaps do a little more research upon the subject?

What about "Those who ignore the past are destined to repeat it."

We must know what happened in the past or we will repeat the mistakes, but that doesn't with the evolution debate, though.

The world will always have wars, always have people starving, always have greedy thugs that would kill anyone as long as they are rich, and always be in turmoil. Nothing will make the world a better place. It is wishful thinking to think so.

However, I do agree people should just let people believe what they want and move on. No one will change their views from a debate because no one thinks they are wrong. They change their views if they learn more facts about something they didn't know before or if they discover something new.

You can change the present and future by manipulating the past. It's really interesting what some people have done with this, you should look it up. Amazing how a single book that isn't even truth can change so many peoples perspective of life.

History tends to repeat itself, if we don't put a stop to people crediting supernatural forces with everyday occurrences it will just keep happening, we are in a technologically advanced age and no-longer need supernatural explanations, that sort of behaviour should have been left behind in medieval times.
