[align=center]Epicbot is not safe.

While botting in general is not only risking your account to the possibility of being banned or hacked, Ive seen threads on specific clients not being safe. Rarebot, when downloaded from the correct site is safe, while Epicbot installs a spyware program.

Ive seen many threads being created with the same errors I had earlier today while using it. The client would not connect, and I could not play runescape at all on that computer, while on my laptop, runescape ran fine.

It is because Epicbot installed a program called "Relevant Knowledge." This program is a virus. While Epicbot worked for a while, Relevant Knowledge prevented it from connecting to the runescape site. It popped up randomly this morning, with a popup looking screen sliding down from the top right. I just closed it and continued to play. I thought for a while that runescape was just down. But then I could also not update my minecraft, i had a strange error come up when i tried. When I googled it, I found that it was indeed Relevant Knowledge.

If you have this program on your computer, go to Control Panel, then Go to uninstall programs. Find Relevant Knowledge and uninstall it. Restart your pc. This should have removed the program from the program list. If it does not, you may have another virus keeping you from uninstalling it, and a simple virus scan should help you there.

I hope this helped anyone who also had the same errors and did not know what to do.

it works fine for me I've used for it for the past week and no issues and epic bot is one of the oldest bots ever. it has no virus.

also I went into my control pannel and do not have that program so maybe its just you.

Rick, I used it for over a week with no problem, but a few days ago i had to reinstall it after removing it. This is when the new program showed up. I see that not everyone has this problem, this is just for those that do. Just keep an eye out for it.

My friends account was hacked after using my computer for over 100m, so we wiped the pc and got his account back. Epicbot, minecraft, and a couple rsps are the only things ive installed or downloaded.

You must have downloaded the wrong one. I have been using epicbot since it came out. (Long before bot nuke) and had no problems. Also I checked my programs list and that program you said isn't there. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I will go back through my history tonight and find out exactly when that program was installed, but Im 100% positive it was through epicbot. If it was not, ill admit my mistake. But not only was epicbot one of the only things i installed today, ive seen other threads on epicbot having the same errors as I, and Id like to see if they have the program installed.

Death, EpicBot is a Legit bot... I have used it for a long time and it only installs extra programs if you click yes on the installer... And none of the programs are spyware
