Do you want an Intel or AMD build?

A decent AMD build will be around 660$

An Intel build will be around 729

Whatever specs frostbite gives you are good, but they are retail price. You can get them much cheaper. For example, at newegg an i5 2500k is 229.99, At Microcenter I got a i7 2600k for 229.99 with 50$ off a motherboard. You can search for these deals at slickdeals . net, Then choose hot deals.
