UPDATE: If you installed Siriport before the date of 3-1-12 (version 1.3) then please go to Cydia and delete the current Siriport and install the new one (version 1.4) and repeat steps 4 and 5!

If you have any questions feel free to: leave a reply or PM me, but to get instant help, iMessage me at footballfan56 @ gmail.com Be sure

In this tutorial I will show you how to get Siri for your iPhone 4/3GS and/or iPod Touch 4/3g. You must have a jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch in order for this to work!

1. Add the repo: repo.siriport.ru in cydia
2. Install siriport
3. Open Safari and go to this address: siriport.ru/1.crt It is a certificate, install it.
4. Using ifile (add the repo: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to get ifile for free) or a similar program, go to var/mobile/library/preferences and press the blue circle for the com.apple.assistant.plist
5. Go down to the permission section (user, group, world) and make sure they are all set to read, write. Save
6. Go to Settings > General > Siri and turn off Siri
7. Reboot
8. Go to Settings > General > Siri and turn on Siri
9. Try to talk to Siri every couple of minutes (at any interval) until it works. Please, have patience and you will have Siri running no time. The longest it took me to work was about 12 hours. The shortest was 15 minutes.
10. Done! Enjoy!

Proof that this works:

The A4S at the end of the serial number means it's an iPhone 4. Check [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to see for yourself.

Just keep on spamming it. If not give a break over night and try it in the morning. Patience is a virtue.
