So yeah, as the title explains:
Today i was boosting with my friend in rumble pit, we were both using four controllers and adding Guest accounts to the game to boost on, this also ensured that nobody else could join us and interrupt our boosting session.
Anyway it was going fine at the start with about 2-5 games done in under 10 minutes however in the middle of a game i got the following on-screen message:
"The Following Xbox 360 console/Account has been banned from earning Experience Points (EXP) for two weeks. Visit bungie.net/ban for more information"
I receieved the EXP ban yet my friend didn't. I was wondering how bungie figured out we were boosting. Is it supposedly easier for them to pick up on accounts that have controllers logged into a certain playlist for a specific amount of time or what?
I was also wondering if it was possible to bypass this EXP ban, or if not, could anyone give me some tips on how to boost in the future whilst being undetected.

I don't think there is a way to bipass the exp bann that sucks though.

well i was achievment boostng in lone wolves and team mythic and i havent been caught yet.

you get caught because your getting matched up with the same 4 people if there is only 2/8 people getting kills, doesnt that seem a little supicious to bungies banhammer

I guess it does seem suspicious, moreover one of the controllers did d.c and other players joined and began getting kills. Whether or not we were reported i have no idea. I guess i'll have to wait the ban out.
Edit: The matching up shouldnt have made a great difference seen as bungie allows constant partying up with the same people over and over, which we did.

wow bungie im impressed never knew that they had that! they should get something like this for mw2 so that you dont get banned on an xbox live account only on your mw2 account

You may be impressed but i sure as hell aint.
I cant get EXP or Skill for two weeks (after which ill be back to school so ill have even less time to lvl) and i was planning to get to Lieutenant. Ya im a noob at halo but im a noob with reconz. lol

unlucky, once i got console banned from matchmaking becuase i was dexping.
