So atm I am running on an AMD Sempron, 1 gb ddr2, a 6150 le, and a 70 gb HDD. And my mom owes me 4k so I may be getting a new computer and I need one that can run TF 2 just fine or at least Halo CE on High. It also needs to be good for video editing and a big hard drive I have looked at

I am not sure about this computer though. I was thinking maybe one that is up to $800 or so that is also good, reliable, and running W7.

one thing you'll want to do is whats called "future proofing" your computer.
it looks pretty good by just looking at it, but only for todays standards.

if you want to still be happy with it 4-7 years from now, you should definatly future proof it.
and the main reason im saying this is because i noticed that the computer YOU picked out has a intel i3,
i don't know much about the i3, all i know is that it is a dual-core.

dual-cores are good, but not necessarily for future proof.

since your getting about 4k, if you want to spend 1k on a computer, heres one i would recommend:

gateways aren't bad (i had a refurbed gateway about 2 yrs ago, im running a custom build right now.) and newegg is probably the best site (in my opinion) for computer needs.

if your looking for a laptop heres another i would recommend:

thats about 800 USD and has a i5, and a 500 gb hard drive a NVIDIA GeForce 310M gfx card, which isn't bad for a laptop. at all.

if you want to browse all the desktops on newegg for one that fits your liking, heres a link:

hope this helps

Sweet man that will surely help me a lot because I was thinking of getting a Pinnacle studio moviebox plus or an HD PVR thats why I included video editing in the text. I may have to go with the Gateway (prefer Desktops) thanks for taking the time to type this. If I knew how much rep I could give I would rep you.

np, btw if your looking for a computer lower than 1k (to maybe use the money on something else.)

then whatever you do, DO NOT get an AMD cpu.

im not a huge fan of them, plus ive heard from people that the quads can become unstable,

i PERSONALLY think intel is better.
(personal preference.)

I was thinking seeing how much my uncle could make me a comp for and maybe come pre-loaded with stuff like vegas pro 9, cs 5, fruity loops, and other editing programs.
