hello i have a sony vaio VGN-FW31E can i upgrade my laptop to a i5 Quad core
and can the graphics card be upgraded p.s i do have the money to upgrade just need to know if it will work and what graphics card i need

if you need to know anything just ask specs are below

specs are :

Intel core 2 duo T6400 2.00GHz
4Gb Ram
Win 7 Ultimate 32Bit
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series

What you would need to know is the specific model of your motherboard. Also you would need to know some other specifics which I won't go into.

If you are still running a Core Duo, first off your motherboard is too old to run any new components.

So knowing that, no you cannot upgrade and if so it won't be anything like an i5 or a new graphics card.
