Halo is more enjoyable than cod because it ACTUALLY TAKES SKILL. And don't say im bad at cod it is so easy to mess around and keep a 2.0 kd. Halo (3 at least) also consistently matches you up with people at your skill which makes the matchmaking better. My opinion.

I think that comparing the COD and HALO franchises is like comparing apples to oranges.

I like both; they both give you different gaming experiences while keeping their own specific identity.

I like both series for their story lines, multiplayer and campaigns. Each offers a different environment to move and play in. One being more centered on the present and one more in the future/fantasy.

The COD/MW franchise owes much of its successes to HALO, if you look at the FPS genre HALO was really the big breakout game for the consoles. HALO is one of the foundation games that cemented the FPS genre in today's market along with Doom.

To be honest I have enjoyed all of the HALO games except for the ODST game, which, in my opinion was rushed and could have been much more than what is was.

Each of these games builds and takes from the previous releases.

i have both Halo:Reach and MW3. i love them both but i have to say mw3 and cod is better. i get that halo is good for matchmaking and stuff. i love that! but i just think that sometimes CoD can be more fun. And actually skill ISrequired in CoD. i like them both but its like Halo:4.999 CoD:5.000

i agree with this. HALO is one of the first FPS masters.

No cod is way better. It takes about 3 clips of an AR to get a kill in Halo. Too many little kids. The reason it's good though is custom game/forge.

I have to agree halo reach wasn't the best but h3 if where it was at when it was a newer game

Call of Duty gets quite boring. I bought Modern Warfare 3 on January 19th, and guess what, now it's boring! -_-

Halo 3 on the other hand, I've been playing it for years, it's still very fun to.

@The guy said CoD is more realistic than Halo - Who cares? Why do people even like realistic games and go for it? (CoD is no where near realistic BTW)! Do you think Mario, Dead Island, Pokemon, Left 4 Dead, Uncharted, Dead Space, Final Fantasy, Sonic, etc. are realistic games? No, they aren't. Yet, they get sold in the millions!

CoD is ran with squeakers in just about every game lobby.. which is annoying AF!
