Before you post saying "you did something wrong" read the info.
Read the code starting from the bottom or just read this;
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is why I was reset a second time when I wasn't doing anything wrong. The first time I was reset/48 hour ban (I was 8th prestige) it was because I was doing multiple glitches and they reset me for that and I didn't really care because I was expecting it but then they reset me a second time after I got 3rd prestige legit(after first reset) and all they kept telling me is that I got banned even though I didn't even get any type of ban notice the second time I was reset.
Activision support sucks!

You guys obviously don't know what I am saying because I WASN'T banned and still reset so never mind you guys were no help at all. I was just trying to figure out why I was reset for the second time and you guys just keep saying that I was banned when I wasn't so thanks for the useless answers.

Hey Matt,

Thank you for contacting Activision customer support. I do apologize, from the sounds of it, you received a ban and with that ban came a full stats reset. Unfortunately we are unable to discuss why you were banned and why you received a stats reset. All bans and punishments that come with it are final. For information on bans and punishments please refer to: http://community.callofduty.com/message/205286973#205286973

Please read the whole post this time being as you didn't read my whole post last time.

I am not banned! I WAS banned but not anymore. My first reset came with a 48 hour ban but the second time I was reset it didn't come with a ban. And on the second reset completely everything was taken away from me.

Matt,

Thank you for contacting Activision Customer Support. I'm sorry to hear you are upset, and got Ban in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I am not able to discuss your ban with you, but all bans are final. If a user violates the terms and conditions, appropriate action can be taken. Your account is ultimately your responsibility. Banning happens as a result of a user not complying with the Call of Duty online security policies. Because of this, Activision Customer Support will not be able to reverse any ban on an account.

Let me just say something before we get to the info. This did not occur because there was some problem with my data being corrupt but I was reset by whoever bans/resets people because I also lost all of my "titles and emblem"s so this was a complete reset of my profile by a(n) moderator/enforcement staff member for Modern Warfare 3.

1. Gamertag: LeGiT x McLuViN
2. MP information for the game. Where do I find this?
3. Customer's ISP: Verizon Fios
4. Zip Code: 92530
5. Router & Modem make and model.
Router: Model #: MI424WR for Verizon FiOS
Modem: I don't know.
6. Type of Internet bundle package (voip phone and Internet, etc.)
Phone, Internet, Cable
7. Whether or not the user recalls receiving a ban notification .
I didn't receive any type of notification.
8. Did the player notice anything out of the ordinary prior to their rank/stats being reset? I didn't notice anything.

 Response (Steven D.)    01/26/2012 02:21 PM
Matt,

Thank you for contacting Activision Customer Support. I'm sorry to hear you are upset, your stats are incorrect and you want your rank back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. If for some reason your stats or rank information becomes corrupted, the Modern Warfare 3 servers will restore them using a previously stored backup. This means that your rank or stats may not be exactly where you were before the reset occurred. Activision Customer Support will not be able to restore your rank or stats beyond what has already been restored by the automated process. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I will need the following information in order to help you resolve your issue:

1. Gamertag/Steam ID/PSN ID/Wii Ally Code
2. MP information for the game where available. We need to collect this data going forward for all related issues.
3. Customer's ISP
4. Zip Code
5. Router & Modem make and model
6. Type of Internet bundle package (voip phone and Internet, etc.)
7. Whether or not the user recalls receiving a ban notification .
8. Did the player notice anything out of the ordinary prior to their rank/stats being reset?

I am not banned. I was banned for 48 hours on the 18th of this month but that ban is up and that came with a reset and I understand that why I was reset the first time but I was reset again on the 25th of this month for no reason. Ever since I got reset the first time I haven't done anything that violates the terms of service so why did I get reset again?

Ok so on Wednesday, January 18th I was reset on Modern Warfare 3 and I have no problem with that because I was doing glitches on the game but I was able to keep my titles and emblems that I obtained legitimately and I appreciated that but on Wednesday, January 25th I was reset again but for no reason, all of my titles and emblems were also taken away. But between January 20th (when my 48 hour ban ended) and January 24th I was able to get up to third prestige legitimately so what was I reset again for. There was no reason for another reset of my profile on Modern Warfare 3.

Did you even bother to read the info in the "code" part of my post? If not then don't post since you don't even know the full story.

Actually they do because after the first time they reset me I had learned my lesson so I didn't bother doing any other glitches and yet I was reset again but without a 48hour ban and yet they kept telling me I was reset again because I got banned again even though I wasn't banned.

well i read the info you gave and you said u was banned on the 18th so u didn't get unbanned for 48 hours then u said u was reset on the 25 for the second time that would only gave u 5 days to get to 3rd prestige so to me that sounds as if u cheated in some way there is no way in hell you made it to 3rd in 5 days time so there for you must have glitch or boosted in same way that resulted in the reset
