I was going to buy the alienware x51 system. If you go on the website and look at them there is four systems you can choose and customise i was looking into getting the third one for 849 0r $949 heres the link to the page. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Or i was gonna get a laptop alienware instead herehttp://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-M14x/pd.aspx . Anyone who knows what there talking about what one would be better. I would like a laptop for movement around the house and friend houses but these are the two i am choosing out of is the x51 hugely better or are they about the same? Thanks.

NO NEVER ALIENWARE!
Alienwares are overpriced. You could build yourself a better pc for about $500 cheaper!
Seriously. Its obvious you know nothing about PC'S so go do some research and build it urself

You could also just tell him this without saying he doesn't know anything about computers. I have an Alienware laptop aswell just because I like the way they look and I didn't care about the price.
What you said is true though, for desktops atleast. You should look into making one yourself, there's a lot of good tutorials online and if you do everything right it's not hard!
Just make sure you do everything right, because troubleshooting can be extremely hard at time.

well depends if your playing games on it if you are get a desktop if not and you a moving around guy for business or something a laptop
