Normally Jaspers will only take type 2 kvs but if you inject them into memory...That's another story for another time.

every jtag besides a xenon only takes type 2 kvs. And any patch will run on any jtag. Tell your "mate" he is a complete retard.

Uncertainty is 100% correct, I'm sorry to say but your mate knows nothing about jtagging, if anything he buys the consoles pre jtagged then sells them. Patchs will work on any console and all other jtags except xenon only take type 2 kvs, most people now only sell type 2. If you don't know a thing about jtags I'm sorry to say you shouldn't have one, I'm kinda tired of all these posts saying I flashed the wrong NAND or how do I use xexmenu

I completely agree, I hate seeing all these basic questions when I am more concerned about helping release new mods. I wish Jtag discussion was more about working together releasing the information each person has to bring modding to the next level.

Jaspers Only Take Type 2 KV's but you are in luck because if Jtags can eventually get back online, RGH allows a KV to be taken off any console
