I'm switching for CoD because frankly I think CoD is getting pretty boring, so I wanna start getting into BF3. Is there some kind of tutorial or explanation on all the game mechanics? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mainly, you need to camp..
Lol, seems whenever I run around, I get killed by campers, and make sure when you search for games it is where you live
Ex. if you are server browing make sure it says ( east us if u live there. ) to make sure you get good connection..
Find some youtube tips. Youtube always helps..

I also Play BattleField.. You could add me if you want.. Shoot me a PM..
But as for tips.. BattleField, Is a game of Strategy.. You don;t just go around looking for kills like COD... I mean you can, But more likely of a chance of dying.. And as for sniping, You can't just aim at them from a far distance and BOOM! A kill. In battlefield, depending or how far you are, bullets drop.. so if your a far distance aim a little above them.. For a nice clean kill. I hope these two main tips helped..

if you find a vehicle GRAB IT!!! its amazing for getting kills with friends!
Especially the Helicopter, get someone who can fly it good and you'll get TONS of kills!

play it the opposite way you would to COD, it is all about tactical playing and using your kit to your advantage, kills will not be your main source of exp
