miker rotch* srry for spelling.... my fourm was not about modding I was asking if the cable micro soft gives you can be used more than once because my brother is going away to colledge* and I'm getting a new xbox so I wanted to know if I can transfer my profile to my new xbox once then when he gets back transfer all the new data from the time he played ...... please help ..... not modding if you want to use the cable for it's origional purpose....

lol.... uhm call 1800-4-my-xbox its a toll free # and tell them yu got a new hardrive and you need a data migraion pack but you dont have a xbox elite soo yu need to order it on the phone.

Sorry! I was almost sure it was. Try not to dedicate a whole forum post to this because people will do what i did. That's what the cable's for. You just follow the instructions they give you with the cable, hook it up and you transfer your data. Pretty simple! You can only transfer data from a smaller hard drive to a bigger on. Not smaller to bigger

I'm asking if I can transfer data more than once because the guy on the phone said you can only do it once? I would like to do it multiple times so I could get my brothers data every other month.??

You didnt answer his question... And the post isnt dedicated to that its dedicated to him asking a simple question.

Im fairly sure that you can only use it for the original purpose one time.
