Do not listen to this guy. Unicorn cars can only be bought via the auction house or won in a Turn 10 competition. They cannot be gifted or sold to your friends once you have one, they are locked. You can get them every now or then when a Turn 10 employee uploads them to the auction house.

^ you have been fooled, try forza 4 iso modding, where all unicorns can be bought by someone with the iso disk.

Sorry but this is only partially true, some unicorn cars are not locked and can be sold or gifted. For example I have a 2002 BMW M3 street version that is a unicorn car and is not locked. I also have a 2007 Shelby GT500 the same.

Unicorn cars can't be resold or gifted if your playing on the actually disc.
