If you buy these awful headphones, you will regret it

I would rather spend the money on something more useful than a pair of earphones so people think your cool at school, but you can do whatever you want. If you know the value of money you shouldnt do it.

You don't buy headphones to show off. If you think headphones get you girls/guys, you're mistaken. They're tools, not accessories. I spend big money on headphones because I love music. The best looking headphones are no headphones.

If you buy headphones to hang them around your neck, I will never speak a word to you, ever. It's like wearing a "Don't talk to me, I'm a chav" shirt or sagging your pants excessively. You just look like a tool.

There about 400$. I think you can find some cheap ones on the internet.

$300 isn't even a lot of money... Especially in the audio world. You can get power cables for 1000% the cost of the Beats. It's just that the people that buy them are essentially throwing money away and fueling the wanting of companies to take advantage of consumers to the highest degree.

And sadly, the HD650's weren't actually on display, just in a box behind glass. (I'd have answered that earlier but we we're driving in the middle of Indiana where there's no coverage on the way to visit Rose Hulman so I took a nap)

The middle of Indiana. It's like looking out over the ocean, but instead of water, it's corn. Are you visiting for college? I probably should since I live relatively close.

That's a bummer. If I do end up working at Best Buy for awhile, I wonder if I'll have any control over that kind of thing. Set up a pair of HFI-780s by the Beats and watch their sales dwindle!

People who buy power cables like that are funny. It's like they get some sort of gratification from spending more money for no result.
