hey guys i have this older xbox and after about 10 mins or less it likes to just shut off by its self idk why i realy want to fix this so i can iso mod thanks

is your xbox modded with anything like 12v fan mod leds or any kind of NON STOCK stuff

Same happened to me. I found out that it was the fans. If you've opened up your case to replace the fans, make sure that they are not sucking air in - as I have had in the pass. Also, if the fans are old then the brushes may be worn and may need a replacement. And last of all - check to see if your fans are actually spinning and that both of them are.
I have removed the holes in the back where my fans are - so the fans are exposed. I've also fitted a new fan - talismans. A bit quieter than stock.
tldr; your fans are broke. Replace them
