Game Information

Release Date: Dec. 3rd, 2001
Developers: Masahiro Sakurai
Publishers: Nintendo
Platforms: GameCube
Genre: Fighting
Rating: T

Synopsis

The fighters are back from the original Super Smash Bros N64, are more ready than ever! Yet this time they are back with better graphics and more friends to enjoy the game as.

Gameplay

In SSBM they allow you to have fun in many different ways while play by yourself. Theres Classic Mode which allows you to go through lots of different stages until you have to reach a boss. Adventure mode which I find more difficult then Classic mode, because you have to choose your amount of lives and there are different stages. All Star mode which I find that its more secretive than others because you have to unlock every single hidden character to get this. Event mode where you face different characters in different stages, and the challenges get progressively harder as you get higher up. Stadium mode where you can play from 3 different minigames (Target Test, Home Run Contest, and Multi Man Melee). Last but not least Training mode where you can practice agianst anyone youve unlocked in any place you can play on (simple).
Now for multiplayer! In multiplayer you dont have as much to choose from like on singleplayer but you can edit the game mode to play even more with your friends. In Versus mode you can play regular, or you can play with coin mode, bonus mode, time battle, stock battle, camera mode, fixed camera mode, stamina mode, super sudden death mode (my favorite), single button mode, giant melee, tiny melee, invisible melee, lightning melee, slo mo melee (camera mode-slo mo melee are special melees)

Graphics

Of course since this game was released in 2001 they arent going to look like your new CoD or Halo game! Yet Nintendo does a great job of showing off their artistic abilities, and if you compare Melee to the original Super Smash it's a big improvement. So for the fact that it came out 11 years ago I think it looks great!

Controls

The controls of melee are mainly the same of the original controls of super smash bros. L and R is shield, pause is to pause, X and Y allow you to jump, A attacks, B is the characters special move, Analog Stick moves the character, D Pad taunt, and C is to zoom in/out or smash. I think the controls were easy as a young beginner, and are not to difficult for gamers of all ages to master

Overall Rating 9/10 - An awesome classic that is loved by lots
was my review ok? I didn't any negative feedback so I'm hoping for the best
You should add an extra paragraph on the setting, like where they fight, that should get it topic'd
ok thanks man!

Minecraft - Xbox 360
I know lots of people have reviewed this game already, but I want to give my opinion to!

Minecraft for the Xbox is very similar to the PC version, but it isn't as advanced yet.
Minecraft is a game where you can literally build ANYTHING you can think of. Unless on peaceful mode, you have to survive attacks from different monsters. Creepers - That explode if you get to close, but if killed give you gunpowder -, Zombies - That attack you and follow you if you get to close, but if they are killed they give you feathers -, Skeletons - That attack you using bow and arrows from a distance, but if killed give you bones and arrows -, Spiders - That only attack at night and in the daytime they do not attack unless you attack them first and if you kill them at any time they give you String - and many more monsters. There are some ways that you can avoid getting killed by these monsters, Making a shelter and staying in or sleeping - Which I will go into more detail later - through the night, or you can go for the harder option of killing the enemies that attack you and therefore getting the items only they can give out, like string and gunpowder!

There are lot's of other games like Minecraft, but the one I am going to compare it to, is the XBL Indie Game: 'Total Miner'. Total miner is very similar to minecraft in some ways, but in others, very different!
1. In Total Miner, you can dig up blocks and place blocks, just like minecraft.
2. In Total Miner, you can create lot's of different things by crafting them, just like minecraft.
3. Unlike minecraft, in Total Miner you can buy items from a shop using coins. Personally, I think it is more fun to have to craft your own items, instead of making money and buying them.
4. In Minecraft, you can have beds, like Total Miner, but you can only sleep through the night using them in Minecraft.
There are lot's of other comparison's you can find, but you will have to play both of the games to find them out for yourself.

So, back to beds... In minecraft, it takes 3 wool (Hit a sheep once to get wool from them) and 3 wooden planks (Made using wood from trees. 1 Wood = 4 wood planks) to make one, and you just place them down and hit the LT to sleep in them. You can only sleep in them during the night.(When the sun goes down).

In conclusion, I think Minecraft is a great game and I think if you enjoy sandbox games then you should definitely get it!

Thanks for reading!

Synopsis

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game and the first Call of Duty installment to take place in a contemporary setting instead of World War II. It was announced on April 12, 2007 and was released on November 5, 2007. Call of Duty 4 was published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, and is available on the PC, Macintosh, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3. A Wii version of the game, called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition, was handled by Treyarch, and was released on November 10, 2009 along with Modern Warfare 2 for Xbox 360/PS3/PC and Modern Warfare: Mobilized for Nintendo DS. The game is followed by 2 direct sequels, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Gameplay

Call Of Duty 4 is one of the few games I've played where the Campaign is more interesting than the Online Multiplayer. Call of Duty 4 is the 1st in a series of games. And the syncing of the sounds is perfect. One of the only downsides to everything good was that they never paid attention to the hackers, now causing all the hacks on the game.

Control's

The controls are flawless, I mean the control settings make it so that way its fast-passed, I mean there is rarely ever a dull moment in action. And to make it better is the fact that you can customize the settings of the controls. And you can also customize the button settings, so its a double-whammy! But, the only downside is the lack of settings.

Graphics

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It has really nice graphics for its time and they did a fantastic job on detail as well. And when it comes to the syncing of the graphics and audio, almost TOP NOTCH. I mean imagine anime movies, almost that close! And when you play this game, it might not be as good as something like Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3 but its pretty good.

Game- Sonic Adventure

Release Date December 23 1998

Story

Sonic adventure sees the player trying to stop Chaos, a monster who has been unleashed by the evil Dr. Robotnik (eggman) and has you trying to find all 7 of the chaos emeralds before eggman does. The emeralds are what feeds chaos and once he gets all 7 he will be unstoppable.

Characters
- You get to play as 8 characters in total. The first is Sonic which is your usual running around collecting rings, fighting enemies and getting to the end of the level as quickly as possible.

Tails is the 2nd character and is pretty much the same as sonic but you can fly past most of the maps for quicker competion times so you miss most of the scenery with tails.

Knuckles is next and his play style is very different. Knuckles' levels are all about finding three shattered parts of the master emerald on each level so that it can be put back together again.

Amy is the 4th character. Amy is running around trying to get to the end of the level but she has an evil robot chasing her throughout each level which you can stun but not kill so her levels are a bit harder and exciting.

Big the cat is the 5th character and let's just say his levels are very unique. His levels involve fishing for his pet frog "Froggy" who has eaten a chaos emerald and you must catch him in each level to get the emerald back.

The last character that is unlocked straight away is E-102 "Y" who is a robot that worked for Eggman before sonic beat him in battle and amy tells you that e-102 helped her so he wants to join your group and seek revenge on the evil Dr.

Next is SS Super Sonic who is unlocked after finishing the game with all of the other characters. Super sonic is just one level but it is the proper ending and the final boss battle against chaos which is very fun and just plays the same as sonic's levels.

Metal sonic is the last character and is only available in the DX version of Sonic Adventure. Metal sonic is only available after all 130 emblems are collected in game and then Metal Sonic is available for use in trial and mission mode.

Graphics
- The graphics are great considering that the game came out in the late 90s. It was also the first sonic game that revolutionized the 3D graphics that we have in sonic games today. Most of the textures are very colorful and vibrant with a few popping in and out at times.

Developer Sonic Team

Gameplay
- The gameplay is very fast paced and keeps you going all of the time. You are never stuck either as there is a red light called Tikal which will help you if you hit it.
The only problem that I would have with the gameplay is the camera. The camera is brilliant on most levels but there are certain times where the camera angles have gotten me killed for stupid reasons and leaving me frustrated at why the developers didn't notice these at the time.

Overall View
- In conclusion I think that the game is an overall 8/10. The gameplay is very fluent and the 3D graphics are great. The controls are very easy with only a few buttons being used and you are never stuck or never have nothing to do. The only bad thing is the camera which I mentioned earlier which is the only bad point out of all the game and is only seen in a few parts of the game so it is not too bad. In terms of longevity the game takes a good 15-20 hours to complete all story missions with all characters and then there
is trial and mission modes which take an extra 5-10 hours to complete all of them. and the chao garden where you raise chao and that can take as long as you want.

It is available on Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS1, XBLA, PSN and PC for around 5-10 pounds or dollars.
