Synopsis

#1 Sniper game on the App Store worldwide!

When Tyler gets fired and needs a job he goes for interviews. Sadly no one chooses him for the job so he turns to an easy, enjoyable job for him... being a hitman!

In clear vision you go through the game in the eyes on Tyler, you play secret missions that are easy yet dangerous. As you finish through your missions you rack up some serious coin (lots o money), which you can use to buy more guns. You have the choice of playing a mission or sometimes even going to underground fights! But as the game goes on Tyler's fate is in your hands.

Gameplay

While the cutscenes, newspaper clippings, notes, and emails are a big part of Clear Visions story. The heart of the game is found in the assignments, which ends up sending Tyler out on the streets to take care of business. When this happens, youll find yourself staring through the scope of a sniper (there are 5 different snipers that you get at Bad Ben's Guns). Sometimes making killing someone is as easy as tapping the screen and moving the crosshairs onto the stick figure's unfortunate head before firing. But Clear Vision does a nice job of increasing difficulty by making you factor in wind and distance. This allows the game to become even more of a challenge for those who are bored with it!

Graphics

Since clear vision's stile is all stick figures I find that they did a great job with there details, and there graphics overall were outstanding. Clear vision did an amazing job with there choice of stick figures that I would go to say it's the best I've seen yet. There styles show a variety of different styles. Some have mustaches, some have hats, but they all have the right proportion of width and height in them. They also did a great job designing the app cover (picture at the beginning), it gave me a kind of James Bond sniper feel.

Controls

I find that the controls in this sniping game are easier than most others. All you need to know in order to play this game is that you shoot with your left hand and move with your right. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy this game, because the simple yet elegant controls.

Sounds

The sounds in clear vision arent the best sounds out of many apps. Clear vision doesnt have a real sound, so you can listen to your own music while playing the game. The only real point where its good to listen is in the cutscenes where Tyler is talking to someone or something important has happened.

Overall Ratings

Gameplay: 9/10

Graphics: 9/10

Controls: 10/10

Sounds: 8/10

Overall Rating 9/10 - Best sniper game that I've played yet!

Overview

Set amid the violence and corruption of post-war Los Angeles, L.A. Noire seamlessly blends crime-solving, clue-finding, car chases and shoot-outs with revolutionary new interrogation-based gameplay that will allow players to read characters' emotions in order to reveal the truth. Players will take on the role of Cole Phelps, a decorated World War II veteran who rises through the ranks of the LAPD, solving a series of gruesome murders and other crimes that bring him face to face with the dark heart of Los Angeles during Hollywoods Golden Age.

L.A. Noire employs ground-breaking new MotionScan performance-scanning technology, which utilizes 32 high-definition cameras to capture actors faces in 3D, transferring every aspect of the performance into the game, enabling players for the first time to lip-read in-game characters and to read every facial expression down to the finest detail.

Story

You play as Detective Cole Phelps, a former marine fighting in Japan during World War 2, who is sent home due to injuries. Cole gets a job as a policeman and a few months later, he and his partner are called in to do other detectives dirty work. They go too far and end up solving the detectives case. They weren't happy, but the commissioner gave Cole a promotion to Detective. Throughout the game, you will get new partners, do detective work in Traffic, Homicide, Vice and Arson. As the game develops you learn Coles true identity and his past as a marine. This is key to the main plot of the game, which involves a boat returning from Japan full of Army Surplus Morphine, which is stolen by people Cole fought with.

Graphics

This game took 7 years to make. And I can understand why. A massive effort was put into this game. So much that it had to come in 3 discs for Xbox! The facial details are probably what stand out in terms of graphics. For instance, if you look at Cole Phelps in the game, and a picture of the actor who plays him, there is not much different. Facial expressions are crucial questioning suspects to determine whether they are lying or telling the truth. What you choose will affect the case. You need to get questions right to get the right results at the end of the case.

Gameplay

The Gameplay in LA Noire is very complex and to be honest, slow. The driving in the game resembles GTA IV but there is good things about the way you play.
There is no Health Bar so you know you're close to death when your screen starts to turn dark. When in a gunfight, cover is crucial. 4-5 hits and you're dead. The fighting in the game is very basic. You have to dodge and punch your way to a knockout. Unlike GTA IV, there is no GPS route so if you're stuck and don't know where to go, you can ask your partner and he will give you directions. And if you need to go to a location but don't want to drive, you can get your partner to drive there for you. There is a lot of chase scenes in the game, while running, there is no need to press a button to climb up a ledge or jump over one, just run at and Cole jumps/climbs automatically. The gameplay is as good as the graphics and really suits the style and story of LA Noire.

Characters

You get different partners throughout the game. Your first partner is Stefan Bekowsky, a Polish descendant working Traffic with Phelps. Stefan is highly regarded for his sharp mind and dedication to the police force. At first, him and Phelps don't get along, but as the game advances, they get close until Phelps is promoted to Homicide, where his new partner is Rusty Galloway. Rusty was a drunk character who was lazy and stubborn, and let Phelps do most of the work. He can also be funny and sarcastic at times. Rusty is probably your longest serving partner until you are promoted to Ad Vice. Phelps new partner is Roy Earle, a corrupt cop who didn't give a damn about anybody but himself. Eventually, he accuses his own partner Cole in a scandal where Phelps gets suspended and later transferred to Arson, where he meets Herschel Biggs. Cole seems to be doing normal Arson detective work where he uncovers a secret plot called the "Suburban Redevelopment Fund" which is burning houses down and collecting money to build "Houses for GIs" this is one of the key factors of the games and characters in the game, such as one of the main villains, Dr. Harlan Fontaine, who pops up numerously by collecting newspaper headlines, which are collectables in the game, and a troubled war veteran.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack is mostly production music based as 40's music, but some music in the game is actual music producted in the 40's. The game features a total of 28 songs. Which can be heard in a car radio, and cutscenes.

Overall

LA Noire, in my opinion, is one of the most dramatic, fun and exciting games I have ever played. The investigations, chases, shootouts and plot twists keeps me at the edge of my seat and I'm sure that's the same for other fans of this game. If you haven't played this game already I suggest you give it a try. If you enjoy games involving suspence, puzzles and action, LA Noire is the perfect game for you!

Rankings:

Story: 9
Graphics: 10
Gameplay: 9
Characters: 10
Soundtrack: 8

Overall: 10/10

Gameplay

Throughout the game you (Tyler) are left secretive messages and emails to do jobs others wouldnt dare to do. For each mission you do you have to assassinate your target with a sniper rifle of your choice (5 over all), but these missions arent as easy as pulling a trigger. No, in most mission you have to adjust your gun to match the right distance and wind speed. As you go on through the game each mission thats completed successfully will give you money and a new offer awaiting for you. You can buy more sniper rifles at Bad Ben's Shop where you get to choose from 4 different guns (you start with one), but if you become bored with the mission then you can always go down to the underground boxing arena where you con bet on different fighter who go to the death.

The only real point where its good to listen is in the cutscenes where Tyler is talking to someone or something important has happened; even then it's just background noise. Though I have to say that the sniper effects are great thats why the rating is higher then 5.

Considering the post date of your post was months after the review on AppChronicles, you did copy and paste the gameplay portion. You altered a couple conjunctions, and added in your parentheses in between to add a note, but this doesn't make it your work. The new review is fine, no copy and pasting, but don't act like you didn't copy and paste the first review.

Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare is a good game, it is shooter and the campaign is amazing.
CoD4 was released ages ago and still, a lot of people still play it, if you are into modding stuff, it is a good idea if you come on and play and bring your mods on, anyway, on with the review..

Here's what I did want though: Call Of Duty with terrorists instead of Nazis, nukes instead of V2 rockets, a made-up angry communist instead of Adolf Hitler, and maybe - if Infinity Ward could get around to it this time - an ending. And hoorah, because that's what we got. Even the ending, startingly.

Call of Duty 4 is just like every other Call of Duty game, but in a radically different setting, and with an ounce of clever-dust sprinkled on top. Why mess with a winning formula, eh? Originality, you say? Well, it was a rhetorical question...

Actually, that's slightly unfair - Call of Duty 4 expands on the series mightily. Its Middle Eastern and Russian locales, while still linear, feel far more open than the ruined streets of Occupied France ever were, and every mission contains at least one sweet chunk of surprise and delight (that is, mostly scripted events which make you want to push your swivel chair away from your desk and shout "Wow, that was sort of cool, I liked that").

Take one of the very first missions, for example, in which you get to use your night vision in a townhouse occupied by Russians who can't afford candles.

Having cut the power seconds ago, you enter the building and switch on your goggles to find enemies literally fumbling about in the dark, arms outstretched. Upstairs a panic-stricken man cowers and whimpers in a pitch-black corner, firing randomly into the darkness as you enter the room.

That touches on some part of my brain that the other Calls of Duty never did - a part of my brain that doesn't expect to be touched while my violence-loving shooty-shoot pre-frontal lobe is having all the fun.

And it happens a whole lot throughout the game too, not always simple emotional tugs like a terrified terrorist (oh, the irony!), but just through sheer, overpowering atmospherics, and often powerfully beautiful scenes.

It's as if the folks at Infinity Ward created a series of regular Call of Duty missions, then went home and each thought of five things that would make those missions memorable, or at least meaningful. Then they all sat in a meeting room and put those ideas into the game, grinning all the while.
But what about in between all this storytelling and narrative gumph? What about the bits where you're projecting lead at subjectively evil people? Well, they're still here too, and they play out very much like they did in past Call of Duty games. It builds on Call of Duty 2 in that the cues for the combat to progress are less obvious than ever, meaning offensive pushes are more fluid and player-led.

You won't be sitting around waiting for your commander to give the order to move forwards, but instead picking and choosing your cover, snapping up vital ground as the fight continues.

Overall Mark; 9/10
