The Application's Information:

Release Date: 6/24/2011 June 24,2011
Developer: GreenStone Games
Version: 1.7
Category: indie Games
Genre: Action & Adventure
Rating: Unrated (Xbl Indie Game)

Synopsis:

"Total Miner: Forge is a block mining sandbox game. It has Creation, Combat, Survival, Crafting and RPG elements. Share your creations over Xbox LIVE."

About the Game:

Well have you ever played minecraft? Well image a game where you can build, mine, craft, kill mobs, and texture packs. Well this is that type of game. In total miner you have a verity of different items. You have your tools, weapon's, and inventory blocks. The game it's self is very creative and simple but i would have to say the developers have not taken there time over the indie game. The graphic's are just like minecraft. There are also various texture packs that have been uploaded by the developers of the game. This way you don't get tired of the same old thing; there's always something new! Problems that are common are a lot of freezing and lagging in the severs. There also if a problem with the world size vary. Although that trouble is out of the way now i can talk to you about the items that you can earn in the game. In Total Miner you earn various awards for killing a amount for a mob (Spiders, etc) to mining different items lots of times (trees, etc). You also have your own skin's in the game called "avatars". When you earn one it shows that you worked hard for it. There are beginner avatars, and then there are the rare and top of the line skins (avatars). There are over 37 different skins to unlock and trust me for a indie game there pretty difficult to get. There are also scrolls and blue Prints you can fine under ground or in abandon caves to learn how to build a item like a tool or weapon. The other scrolls are called wisdom scrolls. What these do is they level up your knowledge of building and skill, and you may unlock blocks too. They also give advise and tips for the miner. There are also tons of different playlist you can play for example (creation, exploration, discovery, combat, RPG elements, and pvp). I think this is very outstanding for a indie game to come this far and successful. The game cost 240 Microsoft points (about $3.00) and is available on the xbox 360 game marketplace! Have fun and dig Deep!

Rating:

7/10

the reason for my rate would have to be the following. The Game is awesome in my mind. However there are still bugs where your xbox freezes, blue Screens, loss of date (Maps, skins, etc). Over all besides the bugs i think the game has a lot of potential as a starting indie game.

Game: SCP-087

Release Date: Mar 1, 2012
Developer: Unknown
Publisher: Unknown
Platforms: PC
Genre: Horror

Synopsis

SCP artifacts pose a significant threat to global security. Various agencies from around the world operate to maintain human independence from extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, and extra-universal threat. In the past humankind has been at the whim of these bizarre artifacts and similar phenomena, but we have now reached a point in history where we can begin to control and contain these defiances of natural law.

You are now working for the SCP Foundation. You have no need to understand how or why we operate. What you do need to understand is how vital your mission is.
Story

The story is too complex for me to break down in a review, and too big to post here. You can read about the story here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
(10/10)

Gameplay

This has to be the best, most simple horror game ever made! There is not much I can say about the gameplay besides it is scary as hell and this is a must play! You start off at a door which you came out of, and must make it to the 50th floor of what I can only describe as a staircase labyrinth. It is very dark, you have very limited visibility, and these "Monsters" pop up out of no where in a random order so each time you play, you have a unique game experience.
(9/10)

Graphics

There is not much I can say about the graphics, it is a 4.38 MB game with very basic graphics. The entire game consists of brick walls, stairs, hallways, and "monsters". Not the best graphics, but runs smoothly.
(7/10)

My Final Thoughts On SCP-087

SCP-087 is one of what appears to be 1000 games/stories that have a unique background, and gameplay behind them. I only played this game 6 hours before writing this review, and I would recommend it to anyone that loves a good scare. The game is free and can be found here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

OVERALL RATING: 8.8/10

It would be easy to dismiss Modern Warfare 3 as just another iterative update to the massively successful shooter series. After attending a preview event this summer, I left with concerns that the Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer Games collaboration shelved the multiplayer innovation Treyarch introduced with Black Ops in favor of more minor, underwhelming updates. Some of my early concerns proved valid, but many of the incremental tweaks are smart additions to the multiplayer experience. Modern Warfare 3 does little to fundamentally change the well-known franchise formula, but it offers enough enhancements to recommend it to any fan.

On the surface, this Call of Duty experience is similar to the other Modern Warfare games. If a casual fan sat down for a few rounds of team deathmatch or domination, it would be easy to forgive them for mistaking this for a map pack. Its visuals are familiar, most of the weapons are recycled from previous games, the tight gunplay feels similar, maps are still fairly cramped affairs for the most part, assembling a party operates the same, and many of the killstreak rewards return. Modern Warfare 3s most noteworthy tweaks may be smaller changes, but they add up to contribute in a big way.

Custom classes are as crucial to online play as always, and players can choose between three new strike packages for their loadouts. Assault is for offensive-minded players, as its rewards are mostly death-dealing instruments like remote control assault drones, devastating air strikes, and the proximity-based I.M.S. (Intelligent Munition System). If youre outfitted with this package, your killstreak progresses as always it builds as you rack up kills, but resets to zero once youre taken down. Considering Im usually heavy on offense, I stuck with the assault package for my first few hours of multiplayer.
