Ok, so a little while ago, I posted asking if anyone had ever JTAGged their sattalite box, and got a pretty minimal response, however, after a little research, I found out it is the Pace 3100 PVR2 model that is vulnerable to the JTAG Hack!
I have just recieved a version of the box, and am going to JTAG it tommorow evening after work.
So, does anyone have any experiance with this? And is anyone else intrested in doing their box? (In short, it allows you to use all the Sky+ Functionality, without paying a 10 subscription!)
I will update the post with the files needed, and pictures of the hack

Pretty much the same way as the console hack is carried out, dump internal memory, modify that image, flash it back on, and boom

Woah, if you can actually do this that'd be brilliant except when it comes to the fact that probably doing this "hack" to Sky box would probably lead to you being fined etc if you got caught, I think?

Because I barely watch TV, at least not enough to consider paying for it. And I am doing this mainly as a project, when you get older and realise how much money is needed to run a household, you will understand why people would like this done.
Also, in your reasoning, people should not use JTAG Xbox's or RGH's? They should instead just buy games, and old consoles? Please leave my topic

That is not true. You cannot get free channels using any sort of box modification. And if you don't believe me, look around in some Sky forums.
Oh, and to the guy that asked if I get fined, no, the subscription to sky to use this service, is just because of their custom EFG's, but I have some open source ones that I am using.

I am not arguing, I am educating, a long time ago, it used to be possible to glitch a package, this was about 10 years ago though. And with box office, you used to be able to disconnect the phone cable just as the purchase was connecting, and again glitch the box into thinking it is paid.
Nowadays, there is no way to get free sky. If you want, I will give you some sources, if you can provide me with the same, I will appologies, and decalare you winner of 1 internets ;)
