I asked this before, but none of the answers were correct, how can i tell wether a quest is a side quest or the main quest?

Well the Main Quest follows the Story Line. It won't be under 'Miscellaneous.' It won't be one you picked up from a random. Just google it.

i think its anything other then things to do with the companions, main storyline, theives guild, bards collage, collage of winter hold or the dark brother hood

Anything that has to do with Aludin/Dragonborn is a main quest. Doing the shrines and caves are all side quests hope i helped.

Aludin or Dragonborn is a main quest, shrines and caves are all side quests. Dont know if i helped, or if thats what you're looking for exactly, but there it is if you need it.
