So I have already set up my Droid Razr with all my apps and activated it. I'm thinking about rooting it using the mac method. If I root my device will it reset or unactivate my device and delete my apps? Sorry for the noob question i'm new to androids.

It will wipe the data (apps, and stuff like that.) but as long as you have a 4g LTE sim card it shouldn't deactivate your service, I have never done it through a mac computer, but the process is easy and there is no way I could have a droid without it being rooted

WRONG!!

Rooting will not wipe your stuff.

If you decide to put a custom rom on the phone it will.
