So currently Im running a 64bit windows 7 (Packard Bell):
My Specs (ATM):

1.6 GHZ
4 GB RAM
946mb Graphics card

Im an editor and use high performance programs such as Sony Vegas 10 & Adobe After Effects, they run slow atm so I need an upgrade.

What should I buy to improve the performance/speed?

+Rep for a good answer!

that laptop must have cost 3$, you cnt speed it up, a laptop is NOT like a pc you CANNOT CHANGE the specs. your only option is getting a new one, none of those programs work btw its all about the hardware

you can overclock it but the quality will be the same, what your saying makes no sense but it cnt go higher, its like a gtx 580 becoming a gtx 570
