I was on my way to the mall today, ready to buy Christmas presents. I turned into the parking lot when I saw a homeless man swallowing his pride, standing there asking for money. This made me choke up. While we're getting hyped up about receiving gifts and bragging about what we're getting with our friends, they're people who don't even have families to wake up to and eat Christmas dinner with. They've lost it all... They don't have money or nice things but they have faith in God and that's what Christmas is truly about.
Some people don't know the true meaning. A LOT of kids ask their parents for things they can't afford then get mad when they don't get everything. Grow up and get over it. Wait until you have a family to feed, pay the bills, and keep a roof above their heads. You'll know why your parents don't buy everything for you.

That really is the true meaning of Christmas I don't ask my parents for anything unless they offer to get it for me.
