If you haven't heard the new minecraft music disks, then take a look here. Listen to them in order.

Now that we have that out of the way, let's discuss. You notice that the first couple of discs are happy. Very adventure-like. They scream out ignorance and bliss. Like a new middle-aged man who has just found an amazing adventure, who sees much ahead of him!

Now, after you move on to the later discs, you notice they seem to be jazzy, smooth and relaxing. As if that man has found a partner, and also a place to live, enjoying life.

But, the final discs are exteremely creepy. One of them starts out as a funeral march, suggesting that whoever this man lived with has died, and the following music on the same disc suggests that he thinks he has nothing to live for, and must finish something.

The last track is horrible. This shows that the poor man has found something. A secret, no doubt. Something that could change his world, even his universe as he knows it. But, he has stolen it from the wrong creature. Something that is determined to get it back. In the old man's last few seconds, you hear him get attacked by this mysterious creature. It's name? My opinion: Herobrine.

Now, this is only my opinion. I would love to hear yours! But, this stuff really does creep me out. Haha.

Do you think that they put this on purpose?
Most likely it is, but I don't understand what it means towards the game itself.

Kinda screams out a future story mode. Or at least an official unveiling of herobrine? This will hopefully also give is a few more underground adventures in Minecraft 1.0.1!
