Im getting a mac today and i just wanted to know if they can or cant get viruses. People tell me they cant but i just want to be sure. Thanks

I'm pretty sure any computer can get viruses. But I may be wrong..

Of course they can.
People say that but the real reason behind it is that people who write viruses tend to target the biggest userbase which is windows, they can be picked up on macs but they are no where near as common.

Yes they can get viruses, also saying they run on one of the most secure software programs, thats a lie, ANY pc can get viruses. Don't believe the people who say they can't. Also, why are you getting a crappy mac anyways?

Mac is better than windows in my opinion . Windows has too many problems. And just about anything can get a virus now a days. Macs are just less likely to get them than a pc.

yeah they get viruses anything can get it but i would definatly reccomend buying parts abd building your own you can make a 3times better computer for what r going to pay for that mac look this costs just about as much as a macbook pro and if u can spend that much first of all you can buy an anti virus program

yes they can get viruses, but people who spread viruses tend to target windows based PC's
