hello TTG, ive come across a slight problem. i have a physics lab due tomorow and i am a terrible procrastinator, so i of course, waited until today to do it, and i cant come up with a good idea. I need to put an egg in a pre determined container and use every-day materials to cushin it; in such a way that when the contraption is dropped from 30 ft. it does not break. any ideas?

+rep lots for an idea that works. thank you.

Wrap it in a 30cm thick layer of paper.

Or make a parachute?

I was thinking (from the bottom of the container) a weight so the container lands the direction i want it to land in, a layer of cottonballs, a layer of papertowels, another layer of cottonballs, and the egg. (and around the egg there will be paper towels and cottonballs incase it falls over after impact).

and the parachute idea was good and i already thought of that...but thats against the rules so i cant do that.
