I can certainly see you tried using the hair shader to recreate wheat fields but the problem is unless you can mimic realistic lighting and make the hair dynamic enough to look like the object your recreating it nearly ALWAYS ends up looking like, just. Hair.

If you really wanted to mimic the corn field you could of used the hair object followed by a tracer to make splines of the hair, once you've got that all you need to do is align a cloner of a modelled low poly of some corn to the splines and hey presto.

Cornfield!

Other than the method you've used to create this my only other criticism is that it has an extremely high saturation on the material making it almost look like ginger fur.

Keep making stuff its nice to see people experimenting with different things in C4D on this board.

Yeah I can do little work in C4D but not this, looks good to me.
