Borderlands is an amazing game. There is no killing each other in the game though, only duels. Meaning Multi-player allows you to play through the campaign with up to three(3) other people.
The story line is amazing and will take you a while to go through all the missions. After that, you can go and play through the campaign a second time with more difficult enemies.
If you even get tired of the game, you could always start modding a bit. I've had 4 legit 69 complete game saves before, then got bored and started modding.
If you get it, I'd suggest playing the campaign legit first.
There are literally millions of guns you can find. Not even joking. Borderlands two is supposed to have a trillion different gun combinations.
