Well They didn't and yes you can be banned for it. The buttons weren't placed there purposely for people to use in their clan tags. Someone figured out the combination and released it. It's technically a glitch, since you weren't supposed to have it. Therefore, you're exploiting a glitch.

They have every right to ban you .

They are only banning for two days if someone does it though.

Sooo...There's No Real Worry Overall

Well, they are able to ban you, but they're not that harsh, if anything, you will get a 48 hour suspension.
