Before you criticise someone elses punctuality you may want to learn to spell 'Break' a 'Brake' is a stopping measure on a car or a bike :trollin:

Way to go, want a cookie. Got one word, and stopping measure? Or device.. :trollin:

Touche

But I believe it can be labelled as both :trollin:

You can sue your dad. But that won't do anything. Though you payed for it with your own money. You are still under his roof and MUST abide by his rules. I don't suggest playing political war or law with your father. It will result in nothing good! You are a minor and unfortunately you can not do anything. I don't care if you bought it, it was gifted to you, or given to you. You are still living under his roof. He can light it on fire if he wants to. Doesn't matter. His roof, his rules. Some are going to say I am wrong. I can guarantee you that you will lose this argument. I typed this because I wan't to WARN you that suing him will do nothing. If you are 18 then you might have something. Until then, you can not do anything. And even if you did turn 18 and tried suing him. You can do nothing considering you were a minor when it was purchased.

You can't sue him for something you bought with the allowance he gave you :trollin:

i have a job. im 17

I imagine I can explain your life.

Your Life.

Well considering you said you spent $700 dollars on an xbox that probably costed you $200.. I imagine you dropped out of high school.

I'd brake your xbox too no doubt about it, if my son is 17 playing XBOX. Hell yeah I'd brake it.

He's just being a father.

He probably broke it to help you out, trust me in the future you'll thank him. Too much Xbox leads to = Overweight children/Lazy.

And yes, your the **** for wanting to sue somebody who brought you into this world.

Rant over :trollin:

you are the stupidest **** I know. I am no high school drop out, I just got accepted into Michigan. Yes you can call me a nerd for playing xbox and being smart for getting accepted to Michigan. I am just asking for an opinion. not this sh1t youre saying

Yeah, Michigan elementary. There's no way Michigan COLLEGE would accept someone who can hardly make a 4th grade sentence.

Do I seriously have to type like I am the President? I am at a mad point in my life because I am 17 and my parents are getting a divorce. Can't you just go bother someone else?

Here's an idea; you have a job, and you're 17, just go buy a new Xbox.
Job is done.

Just remember this:
Your father is the one whom brought you to life,
The one who looked after you when you were young,
The one who paid for the food you eat and the water you drink.

What's a good way to pay him back??
hmmmm...
SUE HIM?

That is such a dumb idea. You want to lose thousands of dollars for a $250 console, be made fun of, and get even farther apart from your father?
Piss your dad off so bad that he will try and sue you :trollin:

If you do, you are completely stupid.

Even though you bought the Xbox, it is placed in your dad's home (I presume), using his electricity to power it, which makes it his property because you are not paying to live at home.

You would lose in a heartbeat.
