Hey guys, I just installed skyrim to my computer. At first the resolution and stuff was a little off so I changed it, then I started it and I was able to hear the Bethesda intro, but after that I CANT HEAR ANYTHING
No Im not retarded its not muted in game, and my speakers are on, I've even tried it with headphones. nothing works. All sound works perfectly fine if I'm listening to youtube and stuff. My audio works for cod4, but I had borrowed Dead Island from a friend and that too didnt play audio
PLEASE HELP! I've been trying to figure this out for like two hours :[

Update your audio/Sound card drivers, if you can't hear new games audio then this is the likely cause.

Update your audio/Sound card drivers, if you can't hear new games audio then this is the likely cause.
Just checked it says my audio driver is up to date :'(

Do you use a RIP or a real copy of the game?

Nope it was a DirectX problem I just figured it out uninstalled directx then updated it. And also, im using the real copy :]
