Ok so i have seen quite alot of these posts now
" Mw3 servers are down whats happpening "
and stuff like this so i have decided to clear things up



If you have received this message
" The call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 sever is not availible at this time. Please try again later "
It either means you are Permantely banned or the servers are messed up
How to tell if your perm banned or the servers are messed up: if you dashboard and go back on the game and the message still shows up it means you are permentaly banned but if your not banned it should let you play. Another way to tell is by trying to use a different account and if the other account works your obviously perm banned on the first account


The possible resons for you ban could be :
Boosting or cheating
Getting your game modded in any way ( my account has been banned for modding )
Modding your gamertag with HxD or your clan tag
offensive language ( i know it seems silly but it can happen if you upset somebody )


But if you are only suspended it will say something like
" (player name here)has benn temporarily banned from the mw3 servers "
And it will give you how long until you are unbanned


The possible reasons for being only Temporarily banned Are :
if you have been dashboarding whilst in a multiplayer match
Glitching ex.(doing the glitch to get under the map on outpost and getting loads of kills)


And if The servers are down it will say :
" The Modern Warfare 3 Server is currently Down "
so STOP flamming my topic saying i am wrong because the message for being perm banned is different from the servers being down!

No. It doesn't mean your banned. I get this error every now and then and I shut off my Xbox and it connects. Just sayin.

It could mean your banned, but the servers are getting flooded so they go down in some areas for short times, this has happened to me like 5 times already, and im not banned.

Yes i know but this is what happens when you get banned and it is the only way you get banned it doesnt say anything else. if your banned the only way to tell if your banned is this message. my main account gets this meesage (my rank was modded) and when i go on my 2nd account it can play multiplayer

ok so if your suspended for dashboarding you will get a message saying your banned for however long.

If your perm banned it wont say how long it will say the mw3 servers are currently unavailble at this time.

and if the servers are down it will say : servers are currently down!!!!
so stop flaming my topic they are two different messages!
