I was in this game. I got ranked to 10th prestige level 65 and got a kill in a multiplayer game. Afterwards WaW gave me an error and reset my stats back to 0 prestige level 34.

Since then it couldn't be be upgraded to lv65 anymore. I might have figured out what the issue was though. It's probably in the leaderboard, where it still said it was 10th/65. After going to dashboard and playing a multiplayer game, it got updated with the 'new' level 34 XP.

The safest way (not sure if it's possible) would be by adding xxxx XP every kill. Just like CoD4.

That's one way to see it.

I rather think like: People are now buying/playing CoD4/CoD5/MW2/BO to get their prestige points in MW3.
Since there's a limited timeframe to get this done, they're finding themselves in a situation where they can't get it done manually and need a little help with this.

So these players are registering an account on a site that can help them. If the site they're registering on isn't filled with fake hosters that are only out for rep and thankyou's without giving anything in return, then those newbie-members might just stick around for a long(er) time and potentially give more to the community than they would take.

But then something else: I've offered a decent amount of these 'self-proclaimed-trusted-fast-inviting-hosters' a donation for their efforts. Any donation is contributing to [a part of] the community. NONE of them took the offer even though they're claiming to run FREE lobbies. This was until 115 showed up, didn't advertise his goods and just helped some people out that were waiting for invites for 10+ hours. So yea... Let's pick on the newbies!
