The dog tag system is really like Challenges, once completed that certain challenge you get that on Dog tag, and nobody else could take your certain dog tag, they will have to do the same thing that you did to unlock it.

And all of this information to get that certain dog tag is you go to "My soldier" once there go to dog tag and you will see what to do in order to get it when high lighted over it.

I understand that but say if you knife someone you can kind of see the dog tag, but the other ones you haven't taken you can get them no matter what, this is what im confused about.

I had to read it 5 times myself. When you take someones dog tag, it provides a PREVIEW. You can see a dimmed out version of what YOU are going to unlock when YOU complete the challenges. You dont unlock dog tags by knifing someone, you unlock them by completing the requirements you see when their highlighted.
